Curse_Causeless
©Ifeoluwa Philips
Arise and stand
Oh ye sick son of the land
Arise and shine your light
For the day dawn is dark now aright
Love asunder
Panic the clap of the thunder
Fear in people’s mind
Deep blue ocean flood infant mind
Silent is broken
For the blood of cowries token
Amidst of lust
Fearless tone of the lost
Deep dark, darker and deeper
Home of sons, playing ground for lizard
Spiders telegraphing wires
Sporting in a cooking pot for hires
Sleep is hard to wake of men
Where tears can’t be bought a gold for women
We thought of breaking curses
But curse shall not come with no causes
