I tried to find you in a maze
roamed inside the labyrinth
for every right turn that I missed
were footprints lead to the dead end.
Seems like I’m walking round and round,
the exit is nowhere to be found,
each turn lead to another wall,
till I cannot go back anymore.
Voices from above my head,
giggles in a restrained mirth,
as I almost reach the end
someone blocked the exit.
Only then I realized,
that purposely I was trapped,
the labyrinth I tried to solve,
would be my permanent prison room.
